Your Sim will have the opportunity to start working for a company that produces adult content. You will start at the bottom as a webcam model, but at a later stage you will be able to choose between two branches: Acting or Production.
If your Sim chooses to pursue a career as a porn star through the official job, they will get access to sponsorships on the computer in the Acting Branch. The higher your level, the more deals you will receive. You will be paid for this and will also receive some custom goods from companies to try.
If your Sim is in the Acting Branch, they can also sell their phone interviews. You can find this option on their phone. Payment depends on how successful the interview is.

You will gain fame just by doing your job! The higher you are on the career ladder the more fame points you get at the end of the workday! Camgirl won't get much, but Performer of the Year will be golden! However, if you choose the Production Branch of the career, you will start to gain fame points only at 'Casting Director' level and further.

However, be aware that a career in the adult industry will earn your Sim fame, but it will also damage their reputation.

• Camming

​

Your Sim will be able to create an account on the AEP LiveCams website, which will allow them to live stream in chat rooms. Most importantly, you do not need to be on the 'AEP' career path to become a camper. However, it is mandatory if you are on that path.

Once you have created a channel, you can start earning money through live streams and VIP shows. Please note that there is a 24-hour cooldown period for the 'Livestream' interaction. You can also interact with your subscribers to increase your fame through special interactions on the computer. The more subscribers you have, the more money you will earn. You can also receive fan mail and gifts. If you want your Sim to receive 'naughty' items, you will need to download custom content (CC). You can find a list of items with links here. 

Your regular Sims can interact with the AEP website using the 'Watch Porn' option.

• Active Erotic Photoshoot

​

If you have a 'LiveCams' channel, you may be invited to an erotic photoshoot for an adult magazine. You will receive a call and be transferred to the event automatically. This is an active event where you will need to complete tasks, and your pay will depend on your performance. You will need to set up a custom venue for this to work - the new 'Photography Studio' venue. You can find the venue here.

READ THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY! This is especially important if you use custom venues created by other people.

During the event, click on the Photo Studio object and select 'Take Erotic Photo'. After the photoshoot, you can obtain your photos by asking the photographer for them. 

You can visit the photo studio at any time to have photos taken. You will not be able to take photos until you have paid at reception. However, if you have a very friendly relationship with the receptionist, you can ask for a discount. The venue has a stylist and a wardrobe assistant. If you hire a bar, there will also be a bartender.

Alternatively, you can hire a photographer to come to your home and take photos. For this, you need 'In a Flash Photo Studio'.

There is also a Medio Studio menu on the computer where your Sim can practice editing skill and edit photos to be better quality and cost more.

• Recording Videos

​

You can record sex videos and upload them on the Simternet. For this, you will use custom camera Vivux 3000 to record and video stations from 'Get Famous' pack to upload. Type of the video you get in the end depends on the WW satisfaction buff of your Sim. 

The Vivux 3000 camera will allow your Sim to record their sexy times. You can find it in the 'Electronics' section of the 'Buy Mode'. This camera has an inventory where your videos are stored. You can also put the camera in your Sim's inventory. To start recording, simply click the 'Start Recording' option in the 'Record Sex Video' menu. Your Sim will receive a notification that recording has started, as well as a buff that will put them in a flirty mood and indicate that recording is in progress. Your Sim can then start being naughty. Click 'Stop Recording' once your performance is over to find your video in the camera inventory. No one else can use the camera while your Sim is using it and only the Sim who started the recording can stop it.

The process of generating a video depends on the satisfaction of the WW buffs. So, if your Sim had good sex, you will get a good-quality video. If the sex wasn't that good, you will get a poor-quality video. You can also get 'Group Sex' and 'Ghost Sex' videos. If you have Nisa's WickedPerversionsMod installed, you can also get a 'First Sex' video if you capture your sim's loss of virginity on camera. Different types of videos have different initial quality and bring you different amounts of money. 
  You will need Videostation so you can transfer your sex videos there. You can edit them, add effects like usual, but sex videos have separate interaction 'Upload Sex Video to AdultWorld'. Uploading sex videos will bring your sim fame and tiny hit to the reputation. You will also earn subscribers on your "Live Cams" channel, if you have one. If you don't have a channel but decide to create one, you will get a lot of subscribers right away, depending on how many sexy videos you have uploaded.
You will receive higher royalty payments for your sexy videos, and you can increase your earnings using the standard interactions 'Reply to Comments' and 'Hype the Next Video'. However, you can’t promote your old sex videos. Instead, there is an option to 'Promote Videos to the AdultWorld Front Page', which costs money and will give your videos a short boost. You can buy this option every 24 hours.

 

 

• Starlight Venus Award

The Starlight Venus Award is a new award ceremony for pornstar and anyone who works in the adult entertainment industry! The event is held at 7 PM every Tuesday in any lounge with 'Up-and-Coming Hotspot' lot trait. It works in the same way as the Starlight Accolades, but all of the attendees are porn industry professionals and amateurs who have been nominated in various categories. Your Sim can also be nominated for their work in the adult entertainment profession, or even for their online activity, including videos they upload to the internet!

Your Sim can be nominated in the following categories: (Best Amateur Release; Best Solo Star; Best Supporting Actor/Actress; Best New Starlet; Most Outrageous Sex Scene; Best Anal Sex Scene; Best Oral Sex Scene; Best BDSM Release; Best Lether Video; Best Spanking Scene; Performer of the Year; Best Actor/Actress; Best Editing; Best First Time Video; Best Group Sex Video; Best Ghost Sex Video; Best Director; Best Film; Award for Achievements in the Adult Industry). If your Sim wins an award, they will become more famous and receive a custom trophy!

• Personal Video Studio

​

You can buy your own Personal Studio, where you will be able to conduct all your naughty video business. You can buy any residential lot, which will turn into Video Studio. You can also create a Video Studio lot and buy it later. This lot counts as a business lot, so you will need to transfer funds to the studio budget. However, the business panel doesn't work; the only button that works is 'Sell'. Don't touch anything else; forget that it exists.

You can hire a Camera Operator on Personal Studio lot. He will shoot your video and always provide great quality recordings.  The Camera Operator can only work with professional stationary cameras. Their services last for 6 hours, and it should be enough to do anything you Sim want.

To start the recording process, first, you need to give notes on the scene. This interaction can be found in the 'Camera Operator' menu there you can also find other social interactions that will give your Sim different outcomes. To start recording, click 'Action', and Sim will get familiar 'Recording in Progress' buff. Click 'Cut' when you want the recording to stop, and video will be generated depending on what WW satisfaction buff your Sim has.

You always need to stop the recording manually if you want to get the video. If time runs out and Camera Operator leaves, you won't get your video.

Since Stationary Cameras don't have their own inventory, recordings will be in your Sim's personal inventory, from where it can be transferred to the video station as usual.

You can also hire Co-Stars. You can hire them through your phone, one person at a time, and you can't hire more than three actors. You can hire any person who works at AEP or have a channel at LiveCams and have a fame level of 3 or lower. If you don't have Sims like that in the world, the game will create them automatically. Their services also last for six hours, and during this time, they won't gain any romantic relationship with your Sim from any romantic interactions or sex. They also won't get jealous.
